Practising Assamese with games
Assamese is written in the Bengali script, whose marks combine with base letters into single written units — so one keystroke is not one character on screen.
অসমীয়া uses 31 distinct Bengali characters across the practice bank, and they do not sit in a line — marks go above, below and around the letters they modify. The Assamese InScript layout arranges 27 of them across the keys you already have, and the guide shows the physical key alongside the character it writes.
The three games differ in what they pressure. One drops words you must finish before they land, one puts characters on a moving orbit, and one hands you a clock that shrinks every time you succeed. All three run on 22 common Assamese words, and all three level up every four clean hits and never level down.
Of the 31 characters these 22 words use, one alone accounts for roughly 13%. Frequencies like that are why touch typing can be learned at all — you are not memorising 31 equally important characters, you are automating a handful and filling in the rest over time.
Watch what you have written rather than what you are pressing. In Assamese a cluster only resolves once the last mark is in, so the screen is the only honest feedback on whether the keystroke order was right. That is a gap rather than a decision: adding words to a tool whose whole purpose is that people practise typing them needs certainty about Assamese spelling, and a bank with a misspelling in it teaches the misspelling. Assamese is written in a script nearly identical to Bengali, and the two are usually treated as one script — Bengali-Assamese — in encoding standards.
Two letters distinguish it: ৰ for the r sound and ৱ for the w sound, where Bengali uses different characters. They are small differences that matter constantly, because both sounds are common.
Assamese was recognised as a classical language of India in 2024. It is typed on the InScript layout, and an Assamese typist can read Bengali text and vice versa with very little adjustment.

Whichever appeals — they pressure different things. Falling words reward finishing what you started; the orbit rewards picking a target and committing; the shrinking timer rewards not hesitating. If you are trying to fix hesitation specifically, the third one is the unpleasant and effective choice.
